Coach Aida brings a vibrant blend of international experience, lifelong passion, and technical skill to the court. An engineer by day and athlete at heart, she has been playing volleyball since she was 10 years old and has never stepped away from the game. She even represented her home state in Mexico and continued playing while living in Spain and Alabama — always finding a way to stay connected to the sport she loves most.

With seven years of coaching experience spread throughout her journey, Coach Aida now channels her love for volleyball, competition, and player development into every team she leads. Her favorite position is libero, where her defensive instincts and quick reads developed into some of her strongest skills.

Outside the gym, she’s an animal lover (firmly a dog person), a world traveler who loves experiencing new cultures, and a fan of all things pink. She speaks English, Spanish, and Italian, and brings that multicultural perspective and energy to her coaching style.
