- These tryouts are for athletes interested in being evaluated for an open position on one of our teams for the 2027 Season
- All Tryouts will be held at Elite Sportsplex (2220 Mall Dr. E, Waterford)
- Registration cost (NO REFUNDS): $60

- Please ensure all information entered at registration is correct, as this will be our form of communication once tryouts are completed.

- 13 National Lite: Middle Block & Setter

- 14 National Lite: Pin Hitter
- 14 State: Pin Hitter & Middle Blocker
15U
- 15 National Lite: Middle Blocker
- 15 State: Pin Hitter & Middle Blocker
16U
- 16 National Lite: Pin Hitter & Setter
17U
- 17 Elite: Middle Blocker
New 2026 AAU Volleyball Age Divisions (Indoor)
- 10 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2016
- 11 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2015
- 12 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2014
- 13 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2013
- 14 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2012
- 15 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2011
- 16 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2010
- 17 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2009, OR players who were born on or after July 1, 2008 and are in the 11th grade during the current academic year.
- 18 & Under – Must be born on or after July 1, 2008, OR players who were born on or after July 1, 2007 and be high school students during some part of the current academic year.
Premier Teams:
High Performance Premier (formerly Nike) teams are our highest level of play and require the highest level of commitment from our athletes. Teams are coached by highly qualified coaches and it is expected that the team is the main priority for the athlete. The Premier level of play will play high level tournaments across the country
Elite Teams:
High Performance Elite teams are among our highest level of play and require a high level of commitment from our athletes. Teams are coached by highly qualified coaches and it is expected that the team is the main priority for the athlete.
National Lite Teams:
High Performance National Lite teams are for advanced athletes who want to train at a higher level, however, it provides a more suitable travel schedule to athletes who may choose to play multiple sports while keeping volleyball their priority.
State Teams:
High Performance State teams are for the competitive athlete who is just discovering high-level volleyball or who is looking to play other sports during the club season. Travel is limited to 2-3 tournaments within a 3 hour radius allowing this competitive option to be flexible
Seasonal Teams:
High Performance Seasonal teams are for the competitive athlete looking for a shorter club volleyball experience with minimal travel.
- Athletes should arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the start of tryouts to check in and warm-up.
- Athletes will be issued one numbered t-shirt that should be worn to any tryouts they choose to attend. Only one tryout is necessary, but once you've attended a tryout you are welcome to come to any other tryouts for additional evaluations or extra reps/training for free.
- We utilize a high repetition circuit format so each athlete is provided significant contact with the ball in the evaluated core skills and every athlete is afforded the fairest evaluation possible.
- Each athlete will be evaluated by our coaching staff on their volleyball skills, knowledge, coachability, and teamwork.
- Following the tryout session, the coaching staff discusses their evaluations and works together on the team placement process. We aim to place each athlete at the highest possible level to be competitive.
- After each of the tryout dates, parents will receive a placement email within 5 days including a registration link for the team. Note: placements are NOT guaranteed.
- Parents/Players will have 24 hours to make a decision to accept the placement offer and pay the deposit ($500 for State, National Lite, Elite, and Premier teams, $125 for seasonal teams) to hold the athletes position on the roster.
- After the 24 hour period has passed, your offer will be void.
