SCOTT PITCHER

Scott has coached club and high school volleyball for 15 years in southeast Michigan. He has also been an elite level trainer for 10 years. Scott has coached national level teams for ages 13U to 17U and Varsity High School teams as a head or assistant coach at CSPA, CSA, Brighton, Stockbridge, and Marian. He became a fan of volleyball in his junior year of high school, when asked to participate in a 24-hour Volleyball Marathon fund raiser for charity. Scott is also served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of the prestigious 3rd Recon Battalion, when stationed in Asia. He has trained and coached middle and high school aged athletes as well as adults in volleyball, cross country, martial arts, and in fitness/resistance training his entire life.

Scott has been fortunate to coach many amazing athletes over the years and be part of four District Championships, one at CSA and Marian and two at Brighton high school and two Regional Championships while assisting Marian and CSA. Over the previous five clubs seasons his Elite teams have finished in the top four of the Lake Shore Region by AES Rankings and have won 40+ match victories each season. His teams have multiple top 10 and top 5 finishes at National Qualifiers and JVA World Challenges, plus 3 Michiana Power League Championships and 2 second place finishes.

Scott likes to teach young athletes the importance of nutrition, hard & smart work, teamwork, and being comfortable with being uncomfortable while growing into great young athletes and adults.
